The Unbearable Wholeness of Being:
to Present at
Fall Graduate Guild Retreat
September 25-27, 2015
Please mark your calendars and join us for an amazing week-end with theologian, scientist, author, teacher, and religious practitioner Ilia Delio.
Her latest book, From Teilhard to Omega: Co-creating an Unfinished Universe, is a volume of essays by prominent science and religion scholars applying Teilhard's insights to the needs of the current age.
This special program is co-sponsored with Wisdom House, and will be a new experience and opportunity for Guild members. Saturday, September 26, will be shared with the Wisdom House wider community; those interested in the Guild or who are discerning whether to apply to the Apprentice Program will be invited to spend the week-end with us.
This retreat will require an early registration due to the anticipated volume of requests. Watch for the forms in June and please register immediately to secure space at Wisdom House. [Due to the demand for this program, we will be unable to accept any registrations post-marked after August 15.]
It has been said of Ilia that she shares Teilhard’s passion for the emerging, evolutionary consciousness of love. Seeing God’s loving presence in all of creation, she explores what we can learn from nature, "the little words of God," as we grow into our own wholeness. In an article about her, journalist Jamie Manson writes, "Delio is a rare theologian with doctoral degrees in both science and theology and she longs for you to see what she sees: the vast interconnectedness of human beings, God and the universe."
